Home Learning

At Stanmore Bay School we do not set formal home learning.

We encourage our students to be active outside school hours, and our parents to help their children by:

• encouraging reading for pleasure and information e.g. by reading with or to them

• listening to them talk about things that interest them

• giving them the opportunity to help at home, and

• encouraging them in their interests.

If your child is not working at the appropriate curriculum level, the classroom teacher will provide support material to enhance their learning.

We do have a website set up with extra learning resources available, should the need arise. Note these resources are not regularly updated.
